“Energy-efficient development of special revitalisation zones and urban areas (EDINA)” – Workshops

Institute of Urban and Regional Development (IRMiR) together with the Energy Conservation Foundation (FPE) and  Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO e.V.) organises a cycle of three workshops in the framework of the project “Energy-efficient development of special revitalisation zones and urban areas (EDINA)”.

‘This project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)’.

The participants of the workshop are experts in the field of energy, architecture and urban planning from Germany and Poland, as well as other specialists, practitioners in the field of revitalisation and representatives of Polish cities who have established Special Revitalisation Zones.

The main objective of the workshops is to develop energy efficiency norms / standards for private buildings under renovation as well as a toolkit for improving the energy efficiency of buildings in revitalisation areas.

The workshops will be held on the ZOOM communication platform.

Abridged workshop Programme:

  1. Kick-Off Workshop – International Perspective on energy efficiency (12th February 2021)
  2. 2nd Workshop – Focus: Solutions for urban revitalisation area  (26th February 2021)
  3. 3rd Workshop – Focus: Improvement of energy efficiency of buildings  (12th March 2021)
